Whilst working for newspaper Hamar Arbeiderblad we often cover matches of both the Eliteserie’s first team HamKam's pre season matches and the second teams regular season games, which are then broadcasted live on DirekteSport via Amedia.

During our current period doing gigs for newspaper Hamar Arbeiderblad we have covered the live broadcast of the municipal and county council national election day as camera operators. We also filmed and edited all of the street interview compilation segments shown throughout the broadcast.

“The Horror Within” is my bachelor thesis film in which I reflect and analyse on the subgenre of psychological horror and its use of narrative elements to convey trauma. It is done through meta-style essay video/drama format. The project is written, directed, acted and edited by me, but produced with the help of my university peers, including Mikael.

“The Wild Huntsman” is a fantasy short film written and directed by Joshua Warren and cinematography by me. The story follows a viking fisherson who gets entangled in a struggle between two fantastical creatures.

“Undercover” is my crime thriller bachelor film about a detective investigating her former colleague’s murder. It is my own take on the murder mystery genre and its structures and tropes. Written, directed, produced, acted and edited by me and created with the help of multiple classmates including Lorena.

“M for Mari” is a short film about a trans girl coming to terms with her gender identity and taking charge of her own life with the help of an ulikely friendship. Written, directed and acted by me and produced with the help of classmates, including Lorena.

“The Martyr” is a documentary made by a small team including myself and two other students about a cat rescuer. My main role was sound design, but I also took part in the story development and planning including the cinematography and editing process.

“Gjemt bak betongen” (‘Hidden behind the concrete’) is a documentary short made by a group of students, including myself as the cinematographer. The doc tells the story of a man who is fighting to keep his house from disappearing amongst the threat of the surrounding urban construction.

“Why I Like The "A Series of Unfortunate Events" Film Better Than The Netflix Show” is my comparative analysis of the thematic difference between the film and TV adaptations of A Series of Unfortunate Events. I wrote, shot and edited it.

Utsnitt is the yearly 2-week broadcast of the University of Stavanger’s news channel in which 1st and 2nd year media students contribute to through different roles on rotation every few days.

During the first year both of us filmed and edited news cases. During the second, Lorena was responsible as vision mixer, 1st assistant director, camera 2 operator, special photographer and social media editor. She was also tasked with teaching and supervising the light and décor team during the first week due to her experience in a previous in-house university show production. Meanwhile Mikael was 1st asssitant director, camera 2 operator, technical leader, special photographer and editing supervisor (on different days).

The 2020 regional final of the research presentation contest Forsker Grand Prix in Stavanger was produced with the help of the University of Stavanger and thus we collaborated with other external companies to make the episode. During filming Mikael was a camera operator and Lorena was the VB. Afterwards she became the Head of Postproduction, tasked with supervising the postproduction team and editing and delivering the final product to Nrk.

“Læring for Livet” is a show produced by the University of Stavanger wherein researchers debate relevant topics about education, youth and society. The first 7 episodes were done by our media class where we rotated roles per episode. For Mikael these switched between technical leader, script supervisor, vision mixer and camera 4 operator (close up and mid) whilst Lorena was camera 2 operator (wides done on a crane), editor, light and décor and camera control.

Mona Krogh, an up and coming songwriter and artist, tells her story of how she found music and decided to take the leap into becoming an artist. Directed and edited by me.

This short documentary-style portrait I worked on tells the story of a politically engaged young artist struggling with illness. It was planned, filmed and edited together with a classmate.

This “Danone for Men” ad was part of both an assignment and internal marketing campaign contest at the University-College of Leuven-Limburg. The goal was to create a marketing strategy to promote an unlikely product + demographic matchup. In 2014 the chosen matchup was ‘Danone’ and ‘young adult men’, the challenge coming from yoghurt being traditionally targetted towards women and children. I helped develop, film and edit the commercial that was part of our contest entry campaign.
